We arrived in this paradise completely by chance and wished we had never left it again. It is an absolutely magical place, full of history, maintained with simplicity and taste by the pretty little family who live there. There is a very singular, gentle and at the same time enchanting atmosphere, it is both a fantastic space of discovery for children and a source of wonder for nature lovers. In particular, do not miss the house of the German grandfather, a fishing and hunting fanatic, preserved in its original condition, a real Ali Baba's cave, and the old steamboat stopover transformed into a small holiday home. Both can be rented at more than reasonable prices. It is also possible to camp in front of the lake and build fires.

I very much hope that I will one day be able to return to this haven of peace, learn more about the mysterious history of this place, help in the garden, make jams, fish for trout, etc etc!

Not to be missed if you pass by there (and even if you don't!).

I came to this place by chance to spend one night, and the atmosphere that is breathed there made me modify my trip through Norway to be able to return to this place and enjoy it for a couple of days. It is a Camping in a forest that makes you feel in another world. It is a place not to go out. You can use the boats that the family has to row around the lake and also fish if you feel like it, everything is there ready to be used. It has several trekking routes to explore the forest that the family cares for (which is not little) and thus also discover its most remote beaches. Everything is perfectly explained in the map that they give you when you arrive. They give you everything you need to make a fire and help you in everything you need, since it is run by an incredible family.

Without a doubt I hope to return !!
